How my love for piano started
It was March 2020. The world was stunned by what had just happened – all people had to stay home. No travel time to work. No fun days or nights out. I suddenly had time on my hands.
The thing is, I always knew that I wanted to start playing the piano. I already bought a very simple digital piano a year prior, but it had been gathering dust ever since. So when March 2020 hit, I thought “is this the time then”? It felt like now or never, so I downloaded a piano learning app and started learning where ‘middle C’ was and what those little lines on the staff meant. And I promised myself two things: if I still love learning piano after 6 months, I would invest in lessons. If after a full year I still loved it, I would buy myself my white dream piano.
So I did. About a year later, I decided to also share my learning journey on social media and have met a lot of inspiring people and learned a lot about the world of piano. Check out my Sanne.Piano Instagram.

There are three things that excite me the most in life: piano, travel and marketing.
