One of the places you might go to when you want to learn piano is YouTube. YouTube is packed with one piano tutorial after another, but it’s hard to know which ones are actually worth your time. Here are some great Piano Teachers’ YouTube channels to watch next.

1. Piano Lessons on the Web

This piano channel makes you understand the ropes to playing piano very quickly. Tim is a master in explaining piano theory in a very simple way. He shares exercises, tutorials and theory lessons. On this channel you will also find great tips on mistakes you might be making and how to get rid of these bad piano habits.

2. Pianote

Do you want to learn how to improvise and play popular songs? Whatever piano-related topic you are interested in, chances are you will find it on this channel. The tutorials are very professionally made and helpful as they show the hand placement, the highlighted keys and the notes on the staff.

3. Hoffman Academy

If you have never played piano before, then Hoffman Academy is perfect for you. The channel has videos categorized on levels. The beginner series starts from the very basics of the keyboard geography, but is very much tailored to adults. Step-by-step lessons that will get you started as a piano beginner.

In the category ‘easiest synthesia tutorials’, this channel definitely belongs in the top with 1.35 million followers to date. Also with this channel, turn the video to 0.5x speed and learn while playing. Especially if you’re a beginner with 0-1 years of experience, this might help. Looking for new videos? This is your go-to channel, because PHianonize uploads 2-3 videos per day.

Lastly, this channel is relatively new on YouTube but even more reason to start following it now. The Piano Path is great if you are a piano beginner or have 0-2 years of experience. The snack-sized videos break down the basics of piano theory and teach you how to read sheet music. Brianne also composes her own simplified versions of popular songs, so even if you have never played the piano ever before, by the end of the tutorial you will already be able to play a simple song.
